The Environment and Water department of LDK Consultants seeks to recruit a Financial Officer who will be responsible for the financial planning, reviewing, monitoring and management of EU funded projects (fee based).
Main responsibilities:
Preparing and updating the projects’ budget
Managing timesheets, invoicing of individual experts’ work
Preparing financial reports and supporting documents for internal and external audits
Reviewing administrative and financial documentation
Qualifications & Skills
University degree in economics/finance or a related field
Minimum 7 years of professional experience with at least 4 years in the financial management (and monitoring) of EU funded projects, to include project budget forecasting
Good knowledge of EU external actions contracting procedures (PRAG)
Excellent knowledge of English required. Working level of French is an advantage.
Proficient command of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Excel in particular
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Good interpersonal skills for an international environment
A problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, initiative, and self-motivated
