LDK Consultants has a pivotal role in supporting the development of the four software tools to support carbon footprint mitigation and climate change adaptation actions in public sector enterprises. More specifically, LDK Consultants will contribute to determining the relationship between the energy characteristics (construction, systems, operation) of public sector enterprises and their resilience to climate change. It will also support the overall architecture of the tools in terms of methodological approach and practices, as well as the analysis and evaluation of the results from the pilot application.

The four tools that will be developed include the following:

• ECO SENSE Footprint and ECOSENSE Resilience tools for the calculation and monitoring of carbon footprint and vulnerability to the effects of climate change;
• ECO SENSE Forecasting, that supports the planning of actions to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change, and may further support the implementation of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP) and Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SAPs);
• ECO SENSE Roadmap that will support the development of an integrated roadmap and climate strategy.
