Description
Electrification of the new single track railway from Polykastro to Eidomeni and the provisional deviation at Eidomeni station
Design and Construction Works for the electrification of the new single track railway between Polykastro and Eidomeni with an approximate length of 20 kilometres.
The project comprises the construction of the new Polykastro station and the electrification of all its lines, and also the electrification of the provisional deviation line at the south entrance of the Eidomeni station.
It also comprises additional provisional works since it affects a line in operation where very short interruptions of operation or electrification are acceptable.
