Description
The project referred to a detailed feasibility Study for the reuse of treated municipal wastewater for the wider area of Nicosia (Lefkosia) in Cyprus. In particular, the detailed design of the proposed solution included the construction of two main pipelines for transferring the recycled water from the WWTPs of Anthoupolis and Vathia Gonia to the Southern Conveyor after being treated by a desalination unit. The detailed design of the desalination unit with reverse osmosis was also included in the project. Furthermore, the project`s various aspects were addressed such as the compilation of the tender documentation for the construction of the pipelines and the desalination unit, the construction supervision, and a two-year operational control of the desalination unit.
