Provided services include following activities:
- detailed design of the pipework and the RO plant;
- preparation of tender documentation;
- provision of assistance in the offer evaluation process;
- supervision services during construction works;
- preparation of health & safety studies for the construction works;
- preparation of operation & maintenance manuals of all foreseen works;
- provision of assistance in case of disputes with construction companies.
Description
The project refers to the extension of the contract for provision of technical assistance to conduct feasibility studies and produce preliminary and final designs for the recycling and reuse of water in the greater area of Nicosia, Cyprus.
Following phases and activities are to be concluded in the extension:
- (Phase 2): Detailed design of the treated effluent collection system, from the WWTP to the desalination plant (reverse osmosis - RO) and of the pipework discharging the brine from the RO plant to the sea;
- (Phase 3): Final design of the RO plant;
- (Phase 4): Construction supervision of the RO plant;
- (Phase 5): Construction supervision of pipework.
- (Activity 1): Feasibility Study for the recycling of the treated sewage water from the wider area of Nicosia, including examination of one additional scenario;
- (Activities 2, 3 and 4): Final, detailed design of the pipework for the collection of the treated effluent from the first WWTP (Anthoupolis) to the second WWTP (Vathia Gonia).
