Type of Services
Services provided by LDK included:
- training and public awareness with regard to legislation, technology and the billing methodology of the district heating sector;
- preparation and promotion of the agreements between associations of building owners and district heating companies on the heat meters installation and the new billing and payment collection procedures;
- design and implementation of the pubic awareness campaign with the aim to inform / educate population and local authorities on the need, advantages and consequences of energy saving, use of new equipment, and new billing and collection procedure.
Description
The general objective of the project was to provide specialised technical assistance for the realisation of a PHARE funded project, intended to achieve a demonstrative improvement in end use energy efficiency in district heating housing. The specific objectives of the project were:
- the provision of technical assistance in the development of the necessary legal background to the project;
- the provision of technical assistance for the implementation of the investment project in energy efficiency measures in district heated housing;
- the implementation of monitoring and measurement to allow a quantitative assessment of the impact of the investment project in terms of improving the efficiency and controllability of heating for consumers in district heated apartments.
