LDK Group

LDK was founded in 1968 by its current group president, initially as an engineering design office, delivering designs for small building projects. In 1982 the company penetrated the European Union market, undertaking the first EU projects in Greece. In 1991 LDK entered the former Soviet Union countries' markets and in 1994 went strong in the Balkans. In the last decade, the LDK group has added real estate development advising and transport infrastructure in its business portfolio and is constantly broadening its horizons, both geographically and sector-wise.

A key feature of LDK's success is its ability to work closely with clients and collaborators. Joining forces with local and international partners that have complementary expertise in different countries, is a factor that adds significant value to the final delivered quality. LDK has established several long-term collaborations with consulting firms and experts worldwide and possesses today a thorough knowledge of the need of economics of international synergies. With subsidiaries in Romania (LDK Consultants, Engineers & Planners SRL), Bulgaria (LDK Consultants Bulgaria EOOD) and Cyprus (LDK Consultants Cyprus Ltd), LDK manages successfully its operations and projects in the entire South Eastern Europe, as well as worldwide. Its foreign subsidiaries produce and provide services up to the standards and the know-how of the mother companies.
